Looking back on the 2018 season is still painful for Texas Tech football fans. Kliff Kingsbury’s final season will forever be defined by repeated close calls as three of the Red Raiders’ losses came by one score or less.
Unfortunately, the breaks and the critical plays always seemed to go against Tech as the Red Raiders suffered their third-consecutive losing season. But along the way, there were some excellent individual performances. Let’s take a look at four Red Raiders that exceeded expectations this season.
WR Antoine Wesley
The unquestioned MVP of the Texas Tech football team this year was junior wide receiver Antoine Wesley.
