The predominant offseason storyline for the Texas Tech football team is certain to be the coaching change from Kliff Kingsbury to Matt Wells and all that comes with it. But while the new coaching staff is certainly important, let’s not lose sight of the young men who actually play the game.
Now that classes are back in session, the offseason work has already begun under new strength and conditioning coach Dave Scholz. This is where the biggest change could could for next year’s team because as a whole, Tech’s roster must improve physically.
Tech certainly needs every player to be better as the team’s lack of depth was apparent as the season progressed last year.
