Texas Tech adds to its 2017 recruiting class again, this time with a flip from Houston.
WR Bronson Boyd is now an official Texas Tech commit, following in the footsteps of his mother (an alum) and his coach (Carlos Francis).
Boyd is a tall, rangy wideout, measuring 6'3 while only weighing 185 lbs. Some very big names were looking at him as well, as Boyd held offers from Arizona, Houston, Utah, Miami, and Oregon as well as others before settling on Houston. Less than a week after committing to Houston, he announced his flip via Twitter.
According to Scout, Boyd is a three star prospect, ranking as the #17 receiver in Texas.
