The Red Raiders struggled to get things going offensively as No. 23 Texas Tech fell to No. 22 Cal State Fullerton 4-1.
Overall, the Red Raiders finished with four hits Sunday afternoon at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
“You don’t have that many opportunities in a game when a guy is limiting base runners,” Texas Tech coach Tim Tadlock said. “I don’t know how many men we had in scoring position, but it wasn’t very many.”
Timmy Richards led things off for Fullerton with a home run over the left field wall in the first inning.
