FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — Texas Tech is struggling to finish.
Two weeks ago, Baylor’s Lester Medford drained a 3-pointer at the buzzer to secure the victory for the Bears.
One week ago, West Virginia went on an 8-0 run in the final 54 seconds to escape Lubbock with a win.
Saturday, Texas Tech had a chance to finish off Arkansas as Devaugntah Williams drove the lane through some traffic. But the layup didn’t fall as the Razorbacks held off the Red Raiders in overtime 75-68 at Bud Walton Arena.
“He missed a layup,” Tech coach Tubby Smith said.
