LUBBOCK -- Texas Tech continues to build on its new football program, with first-year head coach Matt Wells announcing the addition of Mark Tommerdahl to the the Red Raiders' coaching staff as an associate head coach on Friday.
Tommerdahl is anticipated to serve as Tech's special teams coordinator and assist in prepping the offensive line, according to a press release from the Red Raiders' Athletic Communications department.
One of the top special teams coordinators in the country is heading to Lubbock.
