IT! IS! OVER! Texas Tech finally defeated Texas for the first time since the Michael Crabtree catch in 2008, and won in Austin for the first time since 1997. Yes, Texas is absolutely dreadful this year, and Tech should have won this game. BUT this is a great win for a Texas Tech program that is still rebuilding. This gives Coach Kingsbury another feather in his hat when it comes to recruiting. Couple this road win with the road win at Arkansas and you can see that progress is being made to bring this program back to the level of contention in the Leach era.
