Texas Tech is now 2-0 in Big 12 play thanks to Saturday’s 63-57 win over Kansas State in Lubbock. It is the second-consecutive season that Tech has won its first two conference games.
Last year, the Red Raiders started 3-0 in the league thanks to wins over Baylor, Kansas and Kansas State on their way to a second place finish in the regular season race. Could the same type of run be in store this year?
Currently, Tech is one of only three teams at 2-0 in Big 12 play. The Red Raiders are tied atop the standings with Texas and Iowa State while TCU is the only other unbeaten team in league play sitting at 1-0.
