For just the second time in program history, the Texas Tech basketball team has won a game in the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons. After dispatching of the No. 14 seeded Northern Kentucky Norse on Friday, the Red Raiders now turn their attention to the No. 6 seeded Buffalo Bulls.
Coached by Nate Oats, the Bulls captured the Mid-American Conference regular season title for the second-consecutive year and the MAC Tournament championship for the fourth time in five seasons. And they are looking to make some noise in March for the second-consecutive season after stunning No. 4 seed Arizona in the first round last year before losing to Kentucky in the round of 32.
