Wednesday, Chris Beard’s rebuilt Texas Tech basketball team took to the floor for the first time in a game situation when the Red Raiders kicked off their three game-slate of exhibitions in the Bahamas. Unfortunately, poor shooting and 21 turnovers plagued the Red Raiders in their 63-57 loss to the Bahamas Select National Team.
But do not let the score discourage you or dampen your excitement for the upcoming season of Tech hoops. This was a game that was played in far from normal circumstances and was treated like a true exhibition by Beard who ran very few set plays and continued to substitute in young players even when the game was on the line in the second half.
