Texas Tech Basketball receives no. 3 seed for NCAA Tournament

Texas Tech learned its NCAA Tournament fate on Sunday. The Red Raiders were given the No. 3 seed in the East region, where they will meet No. 14 SFA in the first round.

SFA is coming off a Southland Conference Tournament run where it ran the table and beat Central Arkansas, Nicholls State and Southeastern Louisiana to win the tournament and earn an automatic bid.

Tech's matchup against SFA will take place in Dallas.

If the Red Raider win their first round matchup, they will play the winner of Florida vs. UCLA/St. Bonaventure. That game, too, would be held in Dallas.
