The Texas Tech basketball team returned to the court on Saturday for the first time since a 2-1 showing at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off last week and for much of the game it seemed as if the Red Raiders were still suffering from the effects of a Thanksgiving tryptophan hangover.
But eventually, Texas Tech rallied past the Warriors for an 82-74 victory at the United Supermarkets Arena.
The win moved Texas Tech to 4-1 on the season while dropping Hawaii to the same record. But during the first half, it appeared that Hawaii might be too much for Texas Tech to handle as the Warriors took a one-point lead into halftime.
