Texas Tech suffered a heart-breaking loss Saturday afternoon in Lubbock at the hands of the number 22-ranked Baylor Bears. The loss gives the Red Raiders an 11-5 record overall, including a conference record of 1-4.
In the first half, the Red Raiders were just too sloppy. 10 turnovers led to 17 Baylor points, and Texas Tech just wasn’t hitting enough shots to keep it close. They were able to get many of the shots they want, and usually hit, but they weren’t falling. Baylor did not play particularly well either for most of the game, but just seemed one step ahead of the Red Raiders after a 14-2 run they went on in the first half.
