With the hole left on the left side by Orlando Garcia getting drafted, Michael Davis is proving to be an integral part of Tim Tadlock’s plans and positioning going forward. As Tadlock is cryptic as ever, questions in left field, right field and second base are dependent on his decision of who to start at short.
Michael Davis is the most obvious choice and gives Texas Tech good defense and their best potential lineup. His veteran presence adds stability to an infield and allows other positions to be filled with the fewest question marks going forward.
