The Texas Tech baseball team conquered a familiar foe on Friday. The opponent on the score board was the Delaware Blue Hens, which Tech was facing for the first time this season but once again the weather interjected itself into the Red Raiders’ plans.
And once again, Tim Tadlock’s team was unfazed. Texas Tech notched a 5-2 victory in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament despite having to fight through an inclement weather delay an hour and forty minutes in length.
This was the fifth time this year that the Red Raiders have had to deal with Mother Nature.
