It’s been a very weird season for the Texas Longhorns. You really can’t beat a highly ranked Oklahoma Team that outmatches you in every way in the same year that you go to Ames and get embarrassed by a not very good Iowa State team and call the season anything else. While the Longhorns are starting to show some signs of life, they’re still far too inconsistent to know just which team is going to show up on any given Saturday: the one that beats a beat down on a good team, or gets beat badly by a bad one.
