Texas Tech added more depth to its receiving corps on Monday, this time in the form of Louisiana-Monroe receiver RJ Turner.
Turner, a graduate transfer with one season of eligibility remaining, joins McLane Mannix as another receiver to transfer to Texas Tech and help fill the void left by the departures of Antoine Wesley or Ja'Deion High.
Turner had 90 catches for 1,662 yards and 10 touchdowns in his three seasons with Monroe.
In his senior season at Natchitoches Central High School, Turner racked up 50 receptions for 986 yards and 15 touchdowns.
