It's been an eventful few weeks for Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson.
The sophomore was pulled from the game late in Texas' loss to Kansas State on Oct. 22 before getting benched to start last week's win against Baylor.
Jefferson started Saturday against Texas and returned to form. The Preseason Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year led the Longhorns with eight tackles and 1.5 sacks en route to a 45-37 win.
"In those situations you got to keep fighting," Jefferson said. "I accepted it and when I went back in I knew I'd have to go play something different.
