Reginald Davis produced the best numbers of his Texas Tech football career last week, and he knows he can’t afford to get too caught up in it. The Red Raiders’ wide receiver made a splash last September, too, and it led to nothing.
“Probably one thing I learned is you can’t get complacent,” Davis said Tuesday. “Week to week, you’ve got to give your all, work hard and keep going. You can’t stop.”
The junior from Tenaha made five catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns — the yardage was a career high, and the touchdowns tied a career high — in Tech’s 35-24 victory Saturday at Arkansas.
