Texas Tech offensive tackle Le’Raven Clark and offensive guard Alfredo Morales are among 145 players on the Lombardi Award watch list released Tuesday.
Clark and Morales, both seniors, are two of the four returning starters on the Tech offensive line. The Red Raiders allowed only 13 sacks last season and produced 1,836 rushing yards, the program’s most since 1998.
Clark has started all 38 games of his Tech career, and Morales has made 23 starts.
Offensive and defensive linemen and linebackers are eligible for the Lombardi Award.
The field will be trimmed to 12 semifinalists and four finalists before the winner is announced Dec.
