Texas Tech has had some ups and downs during the 2018 recruiting cycle but could be poised to land an even better class next in 2019.
Inside The Red Raiders recruiting analyst Zach Tanner shares his thoughts on Texas Tech's 2019 targets, commits and more.
DMN: What were your overall thoughts on Texas Tech's 2018 class and the way the Red Raiders closed?
ZT: Overall, the 2018 class is solid and addresses needs. It's a smaller class, which is why it is poorly ranked by the national recruiting services, but there are some intriguing pieces coming in ready to contribute right away on offense while adding some intriguing boom/bust prospects on defense that will have time to develop.
