Frisco junior Jack Anderson, one of the nation’s most highly recruited offensive linemen, on Monday announced an oral commitment to Texas Tech via his Twitter account.
Anderson, who’s 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, has had scholarship offers from at least 43 schools, according to 247Sports.com, including 16 programs in The Associated Press Top 25 this week.
Anderson would be part of the class of 2017.
The 247Sports recruiting service ranks him as the nation’s No. 1 offensive guard prospect for the class of 2017, the No. 45 player regardless of position and the No. 7 recruit in Texas.
