Mark Adams is at it again.
Texas Tech has landed another commitment, this time from Winthrop guard Adonis Arms. Coming in at 6’6, Arms is a really lengthy guard that fits the type of player Tech loves for the No Middle defense.
While only averaging 17 minutes a game, Arms averaged 10.4 points to go along with 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists. The minutes might be a little worrying at first sight, but they shouldn’t be. Winthrop in conference play went 10 deep and did hockey like subs, 5 in 5 out. In a system not predicated on platoon substitutions, Adams would have averaged at least 25+ minutes.
