The Texas Tech Red Raiders would probably be just fine if the Big 12 had never allowed TCU into the conference.
For the last two seasons, TCU has tortured Tech. A year ago it was a beat down of epic proportion, a 55-point shellacking in which the Horned Frogs blew up the scoreboard with 82 points. Last Saturday in Lubbock, the Red Raiders were cruelly done in by a late fourth-quarter, fourth-down tipped pass that dropped into the hands of Horned Frogs running back Aaron Green with one foot in bounds before falling out of the end zone.
