Devin Lauderdale bounced off one tackle at the 10, and spun out of another at the 6-yard line.
He was getting into the end zone.
No matter what.
He lunged as a trio of Miners tried to pull the 5-foot-10, 180-pound wide receiver to the ground.
They couldn’t.
He landed in the end zone, finishing off a 34-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes that had little to do with the catch and everything to do with his determination to score.
That extra push, that “killer instinct” is what the Red Raiders were missing.
