Texas Tech won 45 games, it was the No. 5 national seed in the NCAA tournament and it won a share of the Big 12 regular season championship.
But for this team, the season wasn’t a success.
The Red Raiders were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament on Monday, losing 4-3 to Sam Houston State in the Lubbock Regional at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
“We wanted to go to Omaha and play for the whole thing,” Tadlock said.
