AUSTIN – Every week, Texas Tech defensive coordinator David Gibbs comes out to the Monday press conference and says the same thing but in a different way.
Texas Tech’s defense isn’t good or even average.
It is flat out awful.
Gibbs would run it 50 times a game if he was the opposing offensive coordinator.
He would have to say the same thing again this Monday.
But luckily for him, there won’t be a press conference.
He won’t get to hem and haw over how bad his defense was. He won’t have to answer questions about how Chris Warren III ran all over the Red Raiders, racking up 276 yards on 25 carries on Thursday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
