Editor’s note: This is the third part of a series ranking how the Big 12 stacks up at each position heading into the 2015 football season.
The Big 12’s reputation as a passing league comes from its reputation from having good receivers just as much if not more than its rep as a quarterback conference.
Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree, Jordan Shipley, Justin Blackmon, Wes Welker and Jeremy Maclin are just some of the top names to come out of the conference in the last 15 years.
That trend should continue this season, because even if the top receivers in the Big 12 don’t have the size, they have the speed to make a difference on each and every play.
