When Sarodorick Thompson was out of the lineup the first few weeks of the season, there were questions to be answered as far as who would be carrying the load for this team on the ground. Tahj Brooks stepped up big time and became the lead guy that helped ease the pain of not having a guy like Thompson back there who could contribute in multiple ways. Now that Brooks is missing some time, Thompson is back and healthy and putting on performances that we’re used to seeing from him.
This past Saturday against TCU, he had 118 yards on the ground and three touchdowns to go along with 79 yards through the air.
