Former Texas Tech offensive lineman Robert Castaneda faces a charge of burglary of a habilitation, according a report in the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
A warrant was issued for Castaneda's arrest on Tuesday carrying a count of second-degree felony burglary and he was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center at 1:28 p.m. on Friday, according to jail records.
Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury removed Castaneda, a redshirt sophomore, along with former linebacker Dakota Allen and offensive lineman Trace Ellison from Texas Tech's football program earlier this month because of a "failure to uphold student-athlete expectations.
