The "SportsDay writers roundtable" is a weekly chat between The Dallas Morning News' college football writers, columnists, and contributors. The chat is moderated by assistant sports editor Scott Bell. As we near spring football, the group takes a look at Big 12 quarterbacks heading into next season:
Which Big 12 starting quarterback will have the best 2018?
Jean-Jacques Taylor: It's so early in the process - we haven't even had spring practice yet - that it's hard to have a good answer. But if I had to put some money down on it in Vegas, I'd say West Virginia QB Will Grier who passed for 3,490 yards with 34 TDs and 12 interceptions last year.
