The Big 12 regular-season champion won't be determined for another two weeks. The conference tournament in Kansas City is always a roll of the dice.
For all the uncertainty remaining, Texas Tech sent one overriding message with its 91-62 demolition of Kansas on Saturday: the Red Raiders are the best team in the Big 12 now, regardless of what the standings say.
Kansas coach Bill Self is a believer and took exception to a suggestion that his team wasn't ready to play.
"They were terrific," Self said of Tech. "They'd beat anybody in the country tonight.
