Alfredo Morales wants to show his face around Lubbock again and be able to do so proudly.
Not that the Texas Tech offensive lineman has a big ego. He just feels he owes the city something with the Red Raiders coming off a 4-8 football season.
“Walking around town, seeing the disappointed fans, the disappointed coaches, I think we let a lot of people down,” Morales said Tuesday at the team’s on-campus media day. “It was a bad experience that we never want to experience again.”
Tech’s not used to losing big. The sub-.500 season was its second in 22 years.
