At Texas Tech, that statistic is expected.
The Red Raiders entered Wednesday night’s contest as the sixth best shooting team in the country, having shot less than 50 percent from the floor in only three games. And they tore up the Nicholls State defense en route to a 89-46 victory inside United Supermarkets Arena.
“I’m pleased for our players tonight,” Tech coach Chris Beard said. “I think we beat a good team in Nicholls State.
