Hawaii had two players at 6-foot-11.
However, their slight height advantage over Norense Odiase couldn’t slow the sophomore center down.
Instead, he went to work with a myriad of post moves and finished with 16 points, which tied a career best, to lead Texas Tech to an 82-74 victory over Hawaii Saturday afternoon at United Supermarkets Arena.
Senior guard Devaugntah Williams led the Red Raiders with 17 points, followed by sophomore forwards Zach Smith and Justin Gray with 15 and 11 points respectively.
