Talor Nunez missed a chance to be a significant role player for Texas Tech last season, but the defensive lineman from Midland Lee didn’t let the year go to waste after season-ending knee surgery.
He played in only two games before he suffered a torn ACL, but said he made the most of the situation.
“I had to learn how to walk again after surgery,” Nunez said this week, “which was tough, but everything else ... I’ve been able to focus on being with my teammates more, learning the plays better, doing things I never had time to work on, like balance and different stability things with my legs.
