Raider Power! Texas Tech baseball defeats Dallas Baptist to win Lubbock NCAA regional

Texas Tech baseball is moving on.

The Red Raiders, the No. 8 national seed in the NCAA baseball tournament, posted a 3-0 shutout win over Dallas Baptist to win the Lubbock NCAA Regional Sunday night at Rip Griffin Park.

A three-run homer by Tech first-baseman Cameron Warren proved to be all the offense the Red Raiders needed as Tech pitcher Bryce Bonnin struck out seven batters and only allowed three hits in seven innings of work.

The regional victory marks the fourth time in six seasons that Tech has advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals.

The Red Raiders are seeking back-to-back trips to the College World Series, and a fourth trip to Omaha since 2014.
