It’s not often there’s a topic everyone agrees with on Twitter.
But that seemed to be the case Friday afternoon when the NCAA Men’s Basketball Rules Committee released their proposed rule changes.
Everyone was on board because these proposals are needed.
Keep in mind none of these changes are not official until they’re approved by the Playing Rules Oversight Panel on June 8.
But, the spotlight leading up to the committee’s meeting has been on shortening the shot clock from 35 to 30 seconds and as expected, that change has been proposed.
The committee also proposed the 10-second backcourt timer can’t reset when a timeout is called.
