Editor’s note: This is the first part of a series ranking how the Big 12 stacks up at each position heading into the 2015 football season.
The Big 12 is known as a high-scoring, passing-happy league.
But, that isn’t really true outside of Morgantown and Lubbock.
While, Kliff Kingsbury may insist on having 40 passes per game, his best weapon on offense may just be DeAndre Washington.
And the rest of the Big 12 has some of the best running backs in the country, starting with Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine, who broke the single game rushing record with a 427-yard effort in a win over Kansas last season.
