To start the game, the Red Raider offense was three and out on their first possession. After that, the offense exploded to score 77 points against Lamar. Texas Tech hasn’t scored more than 70 points in a game since 2007 against Northwestern State (75-7).
Quarterbacks: A
Freshman Alan Bowman showed why he was McLane Carter’s replacement this week. He had a near perfect game, going 22-25 with 282 yards and two touchdowns. We also got to see a glimpse of Jett Duffey, who did throw an interception, but went 7-9 on the day.
