The objective for National Signing Day for any school is to get better–regardless of where the team finished the previous season. But for Texas Tech Football, that “get better” mentality came with a fluid transition in filling necessary position vacancies; which stands as a clear indicator that Tech is committed to the blue collar recruiting tactics, and that recruits are buying in to that culture.
With Baylor and TCU so focused on knocking each other down a few pegs in 2015, nobody saw Oklahoma as a truly viable title contender, let alone, as a playoff ready team, which should come as a reminder to Tech fans that silent tactics matter.
