Texas Tech sophomore left-handed pitchers Parker Mushinski and Jacob Patterson were both recently selected to participate in the 2016 California Collegiate League All-Star Game and Prospect Showcase.
Mushinski, a member of the San Luis Obispo Blues, and Patterson, who plays for the Conejo Oaks, are two of 54 players chosen to compete Wednesday night at the MLB Urban Youth Academy in Compton, California.
First pitch is slated for 9 p.m. CT on FOX Sports West.
Thy will be on separate teams Wednesday night as Patterson was named to the CCL South squad while Mushinski will be in the CCL North bullpen.
