As the Texas Tech basketball team has risen from the ashes in 2015-16, many around the Big 12 and the nation have been throwing rose pedals at the feet of head coach Tubby Smith. Smith was recently named the coach of the year by the Big 12 and the Sporting News.
As many know, Smith came to Texas Tech after being fired by the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 2013 despite winning a game in the NCAA Tournament. Marcus R.
