Matt Wells' first recruiting haul as Texas Tech head coach took a hit as he lost some who signed up for his predecessor Kliff Kingsbury.
Nine players signed their National Letter of Intent with the Red Raiders and the 2019 class ranked 62nd nationally and eighth in the Big 12, according to 247 Sports. Only two of the nine signees have enrolled early.
