The Toledo Blade is reporting that Davis Webb is transferring to Bowling Green, following former Texas Tech running backs coach Mike Jinks after Jinks was announced the new head coach there. The article claims that Webb may enroll as early as January, in order to be able to participate in spring practice.
Webb makes the fifth Texas Tech quarterback to transfer in just two years, and the second to end up at Bowling Green, if the report is true. Baker Mayfield stole most of the headlines after the 2013 regular season, when he transferred to Oklahoma, and eventually earned the starting job.
