Kliff Kingsbury, Justis Nelson and Jonathan Giles met with the media Monday following the Kansas win. Heading into the press conference, everyone wanted to know what was going on with Patrick Mahomes and his injury. Anyone who has followed Kliff knows that he comes from the school of Bill Belichick which teaches those speaking should say nothing of substance.
I know many fans hate this school of thought and my opinion is incredibly unpopular, but saying something of substance doesn’t do anything for the team or coaching staff. It just appeases the fans and media, which is not Kliff’s job.
