RJ Hampton, one of the country’s top Class of 2020 recruits, announced Tuesday his decision to forgo his senior season at Little Elm and reclassify to the Class of 2019.
In a video on Twitter, Hampton thanked his family, friends, coaches and teammates before confirming his decision to graduate in 2019 and join one of the many college programs that have long courted him.
The five-star guard, ranked No. 1 overall in Texas for the Class of 2020 and as the No. 2 combo guard in the nation, according to 247Sports.com, has 17 offers from Division I programs across the country.
