After so much went right Saturday.
So much went wrong Tuesday.
The Texas Tech Lady Raiders used a second quarter surge and a strong performance from Dayo Olabode to hold off Idaho State 79-64 on Tuesday at United Supermarkets Arena.
But, it wasn’t pretty.
The Lady Raiders (3-0) were only 16 of 30 from the free-throw line – even with Olabode hitting all six of her shots from the stripe. Olabode, who only had 15 points combined in the Lady Raiders’ first two games, exploded for a season high 22 points and nine rebounds.
However, Tech didn’t start fast and struggled to maintain its lead.
