Jordan Jackson didn’t know what was going on.
He had just woken up and found a multitude of text messages and missed calls on his phone.
One of the texts was from a friend in Houston, congratulating Jackson and his mom, Sheryl Swoopes.
Not fully awake yet, he didn’t have a clue what his friend was talking about.
But then Jackson recalled his mom telling him before that she was on the ballot for the Naismith Hall of Fame and suddenly he understood.
The Texas Tech freshman never doubted his mom would get in.
