Kliff Kingsbury Among Seven QBs Patriots Drafted After Tom Brady (Photos)

When it comes to quarterback stability, the New England Patriots are the NFL’s gold standard.

Exactly 15 years ago, head coach Bill Belichick and the Patriots staff selected Michigan quarterback Tom Brady with the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL draft. After taking over for Drew Bledsoe in 2001, Brady has started in every regular season game for New England with the exception of 15 games in 2008, when he went down with a season-ending knee injury.

Yet Brady’s amazing longevity hasn’t stopped the Patriots from loading up on the position in the draft. New England has drafted eight quarterbacks since Belichick took over in 2000; only four NFL teams have drafted more since that year.
